Is it possible to apply a trigger to a group of objects? I have grouped a text box and an image as I want to be able to drag and drop them and then have them vanish... is that going to be possible?
That depends on the trigger; some can be applied to groups, e.g. a trigger that starts a motionpath for the entire group. Others, e.g. Change State triggers need to be added for each individual group element (because groups do not have states).

Ok - thank you. So if I can't see the group to be selected I guess that means that trigger isn't available?
Thank you for your help - I will have to think of another way around.
Hi Georgina,
A way you could get around this is to edit the Normal state of an object to insert the other objects into it. So in your case you could:
1. insert your image onto the slide
2. with the image selected, go to the states tab and click the edit states button
3. Insert your text box into the normal state of the image
Now the text and the image are one object in the timeline and you'll only need to apply the trigger to that object. See attached example.
Hello,
Absolute genius! That is so clever - thank you!
Kind regards
Georgina
No problem. Probably one of the handiest tricks I’ve picked up here on the forums. Glad it helps you in your situation.
It's perfect - I don't think I would ever have thought of it! Ha ha! Hopefully won't forget in the future :-)
Thank you again!
