Applying changes to all slides in view mode of screen recording

Mar 18, 2013

Hi its my first time using Articulate storyline, i wanted to find if there is way to edit a number of slides at a time.

I have a screen recording that I am editing in view mode. i want  the changes i make to one caption on one slide to apply all the other slides, like color and font of caption. how can i do this? is there a quicker way to apply changes to all sides on in the view mode, or i have to edit each slide individually?

cheers.

Hi,

On the 'View' tab, you have the 'Slide Master' controls- this lets you set the look and appearance of slides through the control of layouts.

To change fonts and colours you may find it useful to have a look at some of the built in 'Themes' on the 'Design' tab. From there you can control fonts and colours as well as using the built in themes to quickly change the appearance of a package.

Hope that helps

Hi BDhan and welcome to the Heroes Community!

I'm not certain if Siphiwe is still subscribed to this thread, but if you're looking to update the captions, you can change the color of thecallouts by editing the Themecolor. You'll want to look at changing the Accent 1 color will change all of the existing screenrecorder callouts and changing Text/background Light 1 will update the fontcolor .  You can update the existing font styles by using the Translateoption to export them » update the fonts in Word then re-import them back intoSL.
