As Michael shared, the hover state is not supported on a mobile device.
I just wanted to share our handy comparison chart, in case you plan on developing a lot of content for mobile devices. This is quite helpful when you need to determine what features are supported through the different output types.
What if clicking the image does seem me thing else? I have a screen where you hover to see info about a choice and click to choose. Can you click to "hover" and then click to choose?
Wade, mouse over hover triggers will not work on a touch device.
You can, however, create the behavior you need by using variables.
Create a variable for your image, default value of false. When the image is clicked check to see what the value of the variable is. If it's False then show the info layer and change the value of the variable to True.
If the value of the variable is True, then the click can choose that option as the users' selected option.
