I have a story in SL 2.0 which contains imbedded video, when the file is SCORM'd it runs as expected with all video controls locally. However once the file is uploaded to our LMS (Litmos) those controls are lost. Litmos are blaming the SCORM and have advised I ask Articulate if they support video controls once it is embed in the scorm file.
How have you embedded the video, from a web site or as a web object? It would help to know a bit more info to point you in the right direction!
In the meantime, if you want to do a bit more testing, you could always look at uploading your SCORM package to another LMS to test it out! We use SCORM Cloud as it's really easy and free (up to 100MB). If you can't upload there yourself, our Support Team is happy to help and upload your files there too.
Hi Ashley- the vidoes are made by me using Captivate, the output is mp4. They are for software training. I do not have access to a different LMS as my company is signed up with Litmos.
SCORM Cloud is free up to 100MB, so it's a good testing option. If you can't upload there, we're happy to help. We'd need to see your .story file and then we can share a link with you to compare how it behaves there.
If so, you can upload at this link using the Add Attachment button or you always have an option to share privately with our Support Engineers. Either way, we'll delete it when done testing.
