Hi, I'm using the built-in Shape arrows from Storyline, when previewing the file all arrows show correctly but when I publish the story file the arrows don't show at all. This only happens with the HTML5 version (which I need)
First, make sure that you're not viewing the published content locally. This can cause issues with HTML5 content, due to browser security restrictions. If you view published Storyline content on your local hard drive or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail.
To properly test your published content and share it with others, upload it to the environment for which it was published. Please review the following article for details:
What browser are you using to view the HTML5 content? If you're using Internet Explorer or Firefox, you may run into problems viewing the content. Google Chrome is the suggested browser for viewing HTML5 content. You can see a full table of HTML5 and what's supported in this article (the browser support chart is at the bottom of the article).
If you're still unable to view the content, are you able to link to your published version or post the .story file here?
Thank you for the reply; Issues still happen when the content is online and not only locally. I cannot upload the Story file here, but If you send me the link we can start a case for your review.
Thanks for getting back to me. I totally understand if you don't want to post the file here. Here's the link for submitting a support case, you should be able to attach the file on the second page. Also, please share the case number with me, if you can.
Anyone has any suggestions? I assume this is an issue with HTML5, since other people is having a similar issues in Ipad devices. The arrows look fine when you do a preview, but when you publish the story file viewed locally or from the server the arrows animation is not correct.
I'm afraid I didn't receive a response from you regarding this specific case, so I wasn't aware you had submitted one for this issue. If I missed the response, I apologize. I was able to find it today (#00308156). The last message I see on the case was from Justin on the day that this case was submitted, but I don't see a response from you. Were you able to try the suggestions he sent you? Or did you not receive the message?
I can attempt to forward the message to you again, if you'd like, so you can work with Justin on this issue. Please just try to make sure that you keep an eye on your email's spam folder and/or filters. You may also want to make sure that support@articulate.com is set as a safe sender with your email account.
Justin and I both sent you a copy of the last message. The emails should be going to your "info" email address. If you still don't receive it, maybe we can try using a different address.
