Articulate newbie!
Nov 07, 2016
Hi
I am new to articulate storyline 2 and just started taking the getting started tutorials. We currently have articulate modules that were developed previously. To get started I just want to know how to go into an existing articulate module and fix up some typos etc. There are so many files and it is confusing for someone that has not worked in articulate before. Can anyone point me in the right direction so that I can get started?
thanks

Hi Sylvia and welcome to the forum.
You'll need the source SL file to edit so that is a file with the extension .story. If you are looking through a bunch of folders it sounds like you may be looking at the published output. Unfortunately none of the files in the published output can be opened in SL to edit.
Here is what a storyline source file looks like
Here is what a published SL folder looks like
Hope that helps - shout out if you need more help
Hi Sylvia, and welcome!
You mentioned being new, so I also wanted to link to these other helpful resources:

Hi Wendy
It would be helpful for see what file can be edited. What was sent did not appear to come through and states that the linked image cannot be displayed as the file may have been moved. If you could send again that would be so helpful.
Thank you so much!
Hi Sylvia
if you are viewing via email it might not show but the images are displaying fine in the forum post.
Hi Sylvia - in addition to popping into the forums to view the information shared, you may want to edit your post as well. When you reply to the forums via e-mail, your signature is included.
Also Sylvia, responding via email includes your signature here - so you may want to edit the post and remove that information if you'd prefer it not be public.
