There have been a number of bug fixes from update 3 to update 5, so you may want to review the release notes and see if they are items your courses struggled with and then you could republish with update 5. Any older courses you've already published won't be impacted and will continue as is. Any courses you're currently working on will be opened in update 5 after the update for you to continue your work.
