Articulate 3 - Type Text peculiar problem

Hi Heroes, 

I am facing a very typical problem...and this is happening especially with Articulate 3 (Have tested in Articulate 2 & 360 the issue does not happen).

Desired Scenario: I have a Type text scenario where i am giving 2 attempts to the user to type the correct text(and hit enter to register). If the user types in the incorrect text, i show them the "Try again" layer explaining them to type the correct text. The user can close the Layer & then type in the correct text again. If the user still does not  type the correct text, i show them the "Incorrect" layer & prompt them the correct answer & proceed to the next page.

Problem: When the user types the incorrect text & i show them "Try again" layer, the cursor still blinks on the text area. If the user just hits enter, the event traps the second attempt and shows them the "Incorrect" layer.

I have tried the same on Articulate 2 & 360 the text box loses focus & does not record the event.

I am using the Control lose focus trigger in this case.

Any advice on how to handle this situation?
