I have been working in Storyline 2 for approx 3 years now. I recently downloaded and worked in Articulate 360. My Storyline 2 files now do not want to open since it was developed in a newer version of Articulate. This now my own stupidity I know...If I upgrade my Storyline 2 license to Storyline 3 will I be able to open the files or are you able to extend my 360 trail?
You mention that your files do not want to open. Curious if it's simply your system is seeing Storyline 360 as the default program vs Storyline 2.
If you open Storyline 2, then search for the file you want to open, does it work as intended?
If you truly did upgrade the file as Phil mentioned, you should have a backup file with the same name, but you will not be able to open a Storyline 360 file in Storyline 2.

You cannot open a SL360 file in SL2 there is no way backwards.
However if you upgraded an SL2 file then a backup will have been created that will still open in SL2.
