I'd like to get some test Articulate Storyline 2 pieces on an iOS device for testing. But I have no idea how the player works. It's installed on the iPad, but says no content and I'm not sure how to load content?
When you publish a file for mobile, as in the link Michael shared, and you send it to a device that has the App installed, the content will automatically open in the App. These items will be stored as the Content in the app.
Thanks for the tips. Worked great from the server. However, now when I try to download for offline access, I'm getting this error:
Cannot Download Content:
Articulate Mobile Player cannot download the content because one or more of the files cannot be found.
I'm connected to the internet, and have uploaded the whole published folder to the server. Maybe there's some mime types I need to activate server side?
That worked great. No problems. So something at my server end? That's why I was asking about mime types, if I don't set the server up to understand all extension and file types, there could be confusion when downloading.
I'm on an iPad 2 using iOS 7.1 and it seems to be running just fine from either the server or offline, using your version. My version runs fine from the server, but gets stuck about 3/4 of the way through when downloading an offline copy.
I did not make any changes to the file, just hit publish. It is possible there may have been an error in your publishing. I would suggest to re publish and reload to your web server and try to download this again on your device.
Tried a second time and it's still having issues with certain files. Do you have notes or recommendations for setting up a server for your files? There's a lot of little files, so maybe do you have a list of all extension types that the server will have to handle? Then I can work with my server provider to get this working.
Got things working from my server at home. Issues when accessing the server at work. Probably a firewall issue or something. I'll have IT look into it. Thanks for introducing me to Tempshare. It's a great service!

Kris,
Do you have the file you could share here for us to take a look?
Sure. It's 60 MB though for the full published folder.
Hello Kris,
Can you share the .story file?
sorry. sure.
Hello Kris!
I was able to download the file for offline viewing without issue on my iPad Mini. Can you test the output here on your device?

Hello Kris!
You can look at the information here about publishing the files to Web. The file I published was uploaded to Articulate Tempshare for testing.

Glad you got this working Kris. Tempshare is great for testing files, but please note that they are only available for 10 days after uploading :)
