Articulate Mobile App, TinCan, and Library Links

The Situation: Our company has developed elearning courses to be hosted on our own LMS. Currently we are using SCORM 1.2. We have plans to transition to Tin Can soon. So at present, our courses are published for the Mobile App Player for iPad users (opting out of the Offline Viewing option), but as expected, the courses do not communicate tracking.

The Scenario: An iPad user has launched a course from our Tin Can-enabled LMS website and has successfully completed the course. 

The Question(s): Once our LMS has employed Tin Can API, will we be able to restrict users from re-accessing courses via links in the Mobile App library? Am I correctly interpreting that this is the purpose of 'Launch Private Content' using a token and endpoint? Found within this link [http://www.articulate.com/tincanapi/].
