I'm new to this community and this is my first post.
I'm trying to run storyline but i am getting the cannot download content error message each time I load the page. I can run storyline on PC without any issues.
We're running the contents on IIS6 and I believe i have the correct mine type play storyline.
Please try the suggestions listed in the article, if you can.
If you were able to view the content previously, it may help to turn the iPad off and then back on again.
If you continue to see the error, can you post the .STORY file here? I'd be happy to upload and test the course on my side. Youu can also send the file to us privately, if you prefer.
I'm not sure if this thread is still open but I'm running into a similar issue.
Server 1: LAMP, All mimetypes enabled for media, no login required, permissions set for public viewing
Results: Users can view content via the link provided on their iPad, but are not able to download the content
Server 2: Internal test server I build (WAMP), all mime types, no login, permissions set for viewing via VPN only
Results: End users can view content via the link provided in iPad and download content
Server 3: WIMP, all mime types, no login, permissions set for public viewing
Resultes: Users can view content via the link provided on their iPad, but are not able to download the content
There must be a set of commonalities that I can use to begin troubleshooting this. I'm just not sure where to start. I'll post the files to the Articulate support page to see where it goes from there.
Hi Martinique! Thanks for the details and I see where you have submitted a support case (00366734). You should be hearing from someone soon and I will follow along as well.
Hi Martinique! I popped in to check on your case and it looks like they are awaiting some feedback from you so that they know how to proceed. You should have received an e-mail yesterday from support@articulate.com and may need to check your Spam/Junk folder.
