Articulate Mobile Player is not working
Sep 22, 2015
Hi,
I published my module with the "Use Articulate Mobile Player for iOs or Android" checked and also the "Allow downloading for offline viewing" checked. I put the publish on my server and when I open the story.html link, the page tells me to download the Articulate Mobile Player to see the formation, which I already have done.
I still tried to click on the "download" link but the app store recognize that I already have installed the Mobile player. So I am stuck here.
I am using Ipad iOS9.
Help me please. I need fast answers.

Hi Jean-Mathieu!
Thanks a lot, it solves my problem.
Delighted to see that Leslie was able to assist you so quickly! Please let us know if there is anything else you need. :)
Hi there,
I have a client who is asking about launching content using Articulate Mobile player on IOS 9 but the content was developed using Articulate Presenter 13 a while back. We would like to avoid having to republish the content. What are our options?
Thanks
Yoyo
Hi Yoyo!
Does the person doing the scanning need to have Articulate installed on their machine? Or just the published files? It's not clear from the article. Thanks for the quick reply, I really appreciate it!
If you download the updater and are doing the updates to your published content via FTP, you should not have to have the software to do so.
What about a course that is hosted on Amazon?
Hi Yoyo! What about it? I'm not following your question.
Hello
Leslie, this has been a great solution. However I still have some problems with vimeo videos. Videos are not working in IPADs. You cant press play button or full screen.
These videos are very heavy and that's way insert them is the best solution.
Any suggestions to solve this?
Hi Eleonora,
How are you inserted the vimeo videos? When you embed videos from websites, such as YouTube and Vimeo, in your Articulate content, you may find the fullscreen button is either missing or not working in your published output.
This is a known issue. For security reasons, many web browsers are now restricting fullscreen mode for embedded iframe content.
We can't override browser security restrictions; however, you can enable fullscreen mode (or full-browser mode) by configuring web videos and web objects in your Articulate content to open in a separate window.
Yes I knew this. My big problem is that vimeo videos are not working at all with mobile player. They do work in PCs

Hi Eleonora,
Just to confirm, are you inserting as a web object within your course? What update of Storyline and iOS are you using? Do you have a link to the video and we can look at testing as well?
