In short, no. Tin Can is the next generation of SCORM. Once we update Storyline with Tin Can support (which will be soon), tracking via the Articulate Mobile Player will work with your LMS onlyif your LMS also suports Tin Can.
Tin Can is very interesting, but I'm not clear on how off-in-the-future it is. It is my impression that SCORM 1.2, and to a lesser extent, the newer SCORM 1.3 dominate the market today and took many years to gain inertia in the market. Some visibility into what vendors have the next-gen Tin Can in development and when the Mobile Player might be trackable would be encouraging.

Is there a link to a list of released LMS solutions that support Tin Can?
