I have a course that is launching a new tab at the end. I want to keep the course within the same browser and have unchecked the Player Menu- "Launch player in new window" option, but it is still doing so. Any other solutions?
You mentioned it's occurring at the end? So the course itself launches in the same browser window/tab? If you've linked to another document or file that could be how it's transitioning out of the course window. If you can share the .story file here, we can take a look as Terry mentioned.
Yes, it has a link that is launching outside of the course itself. The client has provided the URL that is included as a way to link it to thier approval/ review process.
In the Module 3 course, it looks like there is a link a couple slides earlier that opens an external page. I think that if there is a second window already opened, it will use that one to display the final page. I changed that in the version below. See if that fixes it for you.
So the second one didnt have the link built in for the "Build Certificate" button. But I did change the way the link was a couple slides before that one. When you add the link to the certificate, make sure you go into the link options and select open in curent browser option.

Heather,
Could you share the unpublished .story file?
Hi, Terry, yes, there's actually two of them and it's happening on the very last slide.
Thanks so much for your review!
these are the published courses. could you share the ones with the .story file extension?

Try these. Thanks!

It never did misbehave on my end, so, sending to the client. Thanks so much for your help. Will confirm if this worked.
Happy to help.
Thank you, that DID correct the issue. Any chance you could work your magic on the other file I uploaded that's behaving the same way?

Thank you so much! I greatly appreciate your time and help. I think I need to add you to payroll for all your troubleshooting this week!
Honestly, it helps me troubleshoot my own stuff. So all of the help is in my own best interest.
But I do appreciate the compliment.
Terry has been a great help to many lately - and yes, we notice - thank you!
I am kinda waiting for my next project at my job so, I figured I could work on here to stay sharp. Thanks for noticing though.
Noticed and appreciated!!
We agree, Heather -- Terry is awesome, and we always love to see members helping members! :)
