Articulate program on stand alone "kiosk"

Sep 23, 2016

Hello,

I would like to create an Articulate program to run on a "kiosk" computer with a touch screen. I have a couple of questions.

There will not be Internet access where I need to place the kiosk. Can Articulate programs run as a stand alone program?

Will articulate work on touch screens? I want the kiosk users to be able to touch and drag objects on the screen.

I want to make sure this is the right software for this type of project.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks.

Gayle

SL can be published to local playback, though some elements (namely javascript functionality is disabled by the web browser).

Clicking and dragging should work fine as most operating systems translate taps to clicks, and finger actions to drag operations.

For the full kiosk effect, be sure to run your browser in full screen kiosk mode (F11 for most). Publish away in CD or local mode, then load the story.html produced into your browser
