Articulate SCORM Package on Moodle: Issues with Scalability on Mobile Device

Feb 23, 2017

Hi everyone!

I am relatively new to Moodle and am having issues with the appearance of my published Storyline 360 content on a smartphone. When I look at the preview on Storyline and look at how it should look on a mobile device, I am happy with the appearance. However, when I upload the same published zip file to Moodle and test it on two smartphones, the content requires scrolling and doesn't fit well onto the page, especially on landscape mode (please see screenshots attached). My worry is that people won't be able to see the submit button if they don't realise they have to scroll down the page.

Does anyone know if there is some step I'm missing to transfer the device scalability features to Moodle? I want to make the lessons fit well onto a mobile device to be as user friendly as possible for the students.

Any help or advice appreciated!

Laura

Hello Laura - You mention that utilizing the mobile preview looks as expected, so curious if the difference in appearance perhaps lies within your LMS. Have you tested the output in SCORM Cloud to see if you experience the same behavior? If so, could you share the .story file so that we could take a look and fully understand as well?
