Articulate - SCORMs, Moodle LMS and Web Browser Behaviour

Feb 04, 2014

We are using Articulate Storyline to design our e-learning courses. Each course is divided into units and each unit contains a SCORM package. We are using Moodle 2.4.5 as our LMS. Recently, Chrome upgraded to version 32; IE upgraded to version 11 and Firefox upgraded to 26. Chrome 32 requires Flash Player 12; Firefox 26 requires Java 7. Is anyone experiencing issues (navigation, reporting, course completion) with the SCORMs and the most recent web browser updates?

Thanks
Sandy

Hi Sandy,

I haven't heard of any specific issues related to the browser updates and Moodle 2.4.5, but you may want to connect with your LMS team to see if they have any additional information to share. Additionally, to see if it's a Moodle specific issue or something occurring in the specific browser you may also want to test your course at SCORM Cloud, which is an industry standard method to test SCORM content, to see if the behavior is reproducible. If you don't experience any difficulties there, you'll want to share that with your LMS team. If the issues persist while testing at SCORM Cloud, please let us know and share your Storyline course with us so that we can take a look. You can share here in the forums, or if you'd prefer to share privately please let me know and I will send along instructions.
