I'm hoping someone can help me resize my Storyline project so it plays well within Saba (Saba Cloud 30.1.0.5).
When I set the Articulate slide size as 1280x960, set the Saba player as the same size, then launching inline - there's still white space in the left and right margins.
How can I get the players to be closer in size for a better learner experience?
I don't know as much about the Saba player - so you may want to reach out to them specifically to see if there are any elements you can change there. Additionally I wanted to share the information here in regards to re-sizing the player/browser based on how it's accessed.
To help narrow down the issue you could upload it to SCORM Cloud which is an industry standard for testing LMS content and would help you determine if it's the Articulate package or the Saba player that is adding the additional padding. There is a certain amount of padding added to the Storyline player based on features you use as detailed here.
Let us know how it goes at SCORM Cloud and we can help take a look as well if you'd like to share the .story file.
Per the Articulate link you sent, I don't have the sidebar checked so there should only be the +20 pixel addition. Certainly seems like a lot more than 20 pixels though currently.
When you launch the course at SCORM Cloud, it likely opens in a new window - how does that look compared to your SABA version? Scorm Cloud doesn't have a "player" per se, but just a new window that will showcase the course within the Storyline player you're using.
Could you share a screenshot of the two set ups? If it's looking the same, I'm guessing there are player elements there that maybe you haven't accounted for and that it's displaying as expected based on your player/browser settings and story size.
In a perfect world, I'd love a copy of your .story file and screenshots of how it's displaying in Saba vs. SCORM Cloud so that I could see the padding issues you've referenced and try to replicate them myself using your file. You can click on the "add attachment" button at the bottom of the reply box to upload them to the forums.

And Saba says I should talk to Articulate :)
I did see the article about re-sizing. No matter what the option, it doesn't seem to impact the padding along the margins.

Were you able to test at SCORM Cloud?
HI Ashley,
I tried the SCORM Cloud - where do look to find where the padding occurs?
Thank you,

It looks the same in the SCORM Cloud as it does in Saba.

Hi Ashley,
Just to clarify, you want screenshots of the Design > Story Size setup, and the Articulate Player > Other setup?
Thank you for your help on this!

I won't be able to share the file due to company confidentiality issues.
Hi Jim,
Could you share it privately? If so, you can share it with us here. If not, could you still share the screenshots of how it displays?
Not sure what you mean about how it displays.
Do you want screenshots of the Design > Story Size setup, and the Articulate Player > Other setup?

Hi Maksood,
It looks like you've posted this query a few times, and Allison assisted you here and Wendy and Christie assisted you here. Have you looked at the information they shared?
Jim O - I think this is a bit old, but, to get content to scale in SABA you'll need to tell SABA to open the content in a new window and not inline.
Not an ideal solution but that's all I've come up with.
