I have not used Storyline for a while. I would like to do a trial run with Storyline 3 before I jump to Storyline 360. Is there a big difference between Storyline 2 and Storyline 3? Where can I find some free template downloads?
Would you suggest it would be best and/or easier for me to jump from Articulate Storyline 2 to Storyline 360. Is there a big difference whereas the learning curve would be easier going to Storyline 3 first?
Storyline 360 will allow you access to all the features of Articulate 360, such as Content Library, publishing to Review, etc. So all those additional components make for a more robust Storyline and course development tool as a whole!
I don't think there will be much of a learning curve with upgrading to either Storyline 3 or Storyline 360, and if you get stuck we have plenty of tutorials here to help you out! Another added bonus of Articulate 360, is you can participate in Live webinars to learn new tips and tricks for authoring in all the Articulate tools.
As for the templates, they may have been designed with Storyline 360 in mind and are tagged as such, but there is a lot of cross-compatibility between Storyline 360 and Storyline 3, so feel free to download them and test them out whichever trial you're using. Anything created in either of those versions, won't be able to be opened/used in an earlier version such as Storyline 2 .

Hi Michelle,
This page here provides a good comparison of the features across all versions of Storyline:

Hi Michelle,
You can also look at the templates available here in the ELH community.
Let us know if you have any questions during your trial!
Thanks Ashley!
