Hello, I just updated my Articulate Storyline 3 to make sure it is the latest version. I made sure that "Captions" was chosen under Player Properties, and it is visible in Preview.
However, when I publish it into html5 and uploaded to LMS, the Caption button is gone.
Happy to investigate this with you. It's really strange that the button would be visible in Storyline Preview but disappear once you upload the output to your LMS.
When the closed captioning button is enabled, it'll display when there are captions available on the current slide or layer. If no captions are available, the button will disappear. Are you sure you're viewing a slide that has captioned audio?
Also, have you tried testing the output in another LMS environment, like SCORM Cloud? I'd be happy to help with that testing, if you need a hand.

Hello Alyssa,
I just realized that I had never added actual captions to the slides. How stupid!
Thanks for the response!
