Can anyone with a high resolution screen test how Articulate Storyline 360 looks? Are the icons of acceptable size, or does it shrink down like Storyline 2 current looks on such screens?
Also, anyone using a Surface Pro / Book device, your experience would be highly appreciated!
We made a number of improvements in Articulate 360 in regards to the display, so I'd encourage you to test it out! Storyline 2 and Storyline 360 can live side by side, so download the Free Trial and let us know what you think.
The articulate mobile player is not available in the Windows App store - but the HTML5 responsive output would be accessible on any of these mobile browser:
I am having trouble with the display of Storyline 360 on my Surface Pro. No matter what I do it displays too large for me to reach the 'Publish' button. Also, when I import a Storyline 2 file it is all blurry on the edit screen. Can someone help? Cheers, Pip
Are you not able to reach the publish button as it's off the right side of the screen or the top bar is not accessible as a whole? I haven't seen this set up within the Surface Pro but some screenshots and a bit more information about your screen resolution settings as a whole would be helpful for us to take a look. If Articulate 360 is misbehaving as a whole, it may also be worth going through the documented steps here.
Thanks so much for your help. I figured it out myself. The problem was with the display on my surface pro being set to high.
Cheers,
Pip

Hi there, Robbie. You can check out these screenshots from hi-res retina displays. Here's Storyline 2 at 100% DPI, and here's Storyline 360 at 200% DPI. Open them in new windows for comparison.
There isn't a set Story size, as it'll depend on the screens being used and what you also use for the player/browser settings. Do you know the overall screen size of the devices your users will be viewing it with?

Have you extended the Player app to be capable of downloading on a Surface Pro? As of a few months ago it wasn't available in the Windows App Store.

Thanks Pip for that update and I'm glad you were able to get it working normally.
Still keen to hear from someone to confirm Storyline 360 runs well on high DPI screens, and Articulate 360 for that matter.

Of course, feel free to download a free trial of Articulate 360 to test it out in your own environment, if you haven't already!
What is the story size you are using when designing for high-res displays? 720x540 seems too small?
