Have you purchased Storyline previously, or is it possible that your free trial has expired?

Interesting thread. I experienced a license that was activated already and this version has resided on the laptop for months now but it prompted a message that states "trial has expired" and further prompts for a serial number.
Why would this occur if the version is no longer a trial version?
Hi Gem! This thread is a bit dated, but it could be if you updated your software and did not put the number back in and you have been working off of a trial by mistake. You can reach out to our team here if you cannot locate your serial number or have difficulty activating.
