Articulate storyline and a word heavey document

Jun 10, 2013

Hello,

My client has asked me to convert a 27 page 14,500 word document for online access.  My client loves Articulate (I do too ) and would like to use the product.  The content is to be a reference guide where users can find what they need quickly rather than a course where learners work through content from start to finish.

I understand from my client all 1400 words should be on screen

Might you have any examples of projects similar to this and might you have any advice or experience in similar projects?

Thank you

Nic

Hi Nic. Welcome to E-Learning Heroes!

I'd have to say that it really depends on the content, how you want to display the content and whether or not you want all of the content displayed at one time

What I would do, personally, is create different sections for the pages. You could do this with slides and/or layers.

If you want to keep all of the content in one place, on one slide and have it on the screen at one time, you could insert all of the text into a scrolling panel.

If you need to reference specific points, words, etc. - you could use the "Search" feature in the course as well. This way, users could search for a topic/word and quickly jump to that word in the course.

Not sure if any of these suggestions will help, but hopefully it'll help get you started.

Good luck on the project and welcome again!
