Articulate Storyline Audio Compression issue

Hi there
I am having issues with audio quality when recording screens.
I notice that screen recordings end up with audio issues whenever I actually do something on the screen. It's as if Articulate Storyline's default is to record at a constant bit rate, so any movement in combination with the audio recorded results in additional audio compression and thus sound that sounds crackly or fuzzy.
I've tried this with my $50 Logitec headset and my $300 RODE line in microphone with digital transformer line in.
I cannot see where to adjust the record quality or to change from CBR to VBR recording and cannot see where I set preferences for audio quality.
The audio is not acceptable quality so am hoping someone out there can point me to an answer.

Great, thanks. This email sounds familiar though - I guess I received it already in September. Due to archiving policies the first one has been wiped out. So thanks for resending! I'll respond to it directly.
The following recommended steps of your support sadly didn't bring any improvement:
1. Uninstall Storyline/Studio '09 using Windows' Add/Remove programs
2. Download a new installer and save on your desktop
3. Restart your computer
4. Turn off your anti-virus program
5. Close all running programs
6. Right-click the installation file, and select Run as administrator
7. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation process
8. Reboot your computer

Hi Florian! Just popping in to check on how things are progressing. Were you able to re-create in a new file that you can get over to Jayem or is the issue not occurring.

Looks like Jayem wasn't able to reproduce the issue that was last shared by Florian. It also looks like that case may have been put on hold, as I don't see any recent updates from Florian in the case.
Are you able to provide a little more detail on what's happening in your project?

I am having the same issue! Every other program I use does not have this issue, only Storyline!
