We are testing elearning modules that are published using Articulate Storyline 1 and Articulate Storyline 2 in iOS 9 Beta 5, we noticed that the content pages are not loading in the module, we can see the menu, top panel(Exit and Resources) and bottom panel(Page progress bar, Next, Previous and Volume controller), did any of you noticed the same issue?
Thanks for your quick response Matthew, I appreciate it.
Leslie: We are not using the Beta, we are just testing it to make sure it works on the iOS 9 when it is released, however we will wait to test the modules on the final release.
Storyline 2 Update 7 was released yesterday and in addition to some bug fixes, it also includes support for Apple iOS9. You can read the release notes and download the update here.
Any news on if there will be an IOS 9 update for Articulate Presenter or Quizmaker? As of right now the sam issues abound in publiched courses. The player does not work correctly and many animations and images dissappear.
Fortuitous timing...Articulate Studio '13 Update 7 is now available for download. It adds support for Apple iOS 9 and includes bug fixes. Click here for details.
i try to day in the iOS9.0.1 still without succes. When i wont to start the ipad connect me to te App store. but the aplicatiton is all ready on the iPAd.
Also, when looking to access the courses on the iPad, I'd also look at clearing the browser history to ensure you're using the latest update of the courses instead of accessing a previously loaded link.
So from those images it looks like you have a .story file and you ran the update for Studio '13. Those are two different products - and I'd want to make sure you download the Storyline update and run that Updater vs. the Studio '13 version. I included those links in my previous reply - ignore my links for Andrew as those were for Studio.
Any reported problems for running videos on the iPad ios9 with Storyline 2 Update 7 in HTML5?
My videos are encoded with Adobe Premiere in h.264 (.mp4). I just get the first frame preview in Safari and Chrome, no playback controls, cannot start video.
PS: video works fine on an Android 4.0 handset running Google Chrome (HTML5).
It was something fixed in Update 7 - are you certain that you published these specific courses with the latest update? If you have a course that you want us to take a look at can you share the .story file here with us?
Thanks for sharing here - although that looks like your published output. I'd like to see the .story file so that I can publish myself and see how you've set up elements such as the video. Can you share that here?
I published your course and tested it at SCORM Cloud and you can also access the course here. I viewed it on my desktop in Chrome and my iPad mini in Safari with iOS 9.0.2 and they both played the same in that the video and audio started. I did want to note, that for the video there is no image movement till about 15 seconds in? Perhaps that is what you're referring too? I see that same behavior when just previewing the video in Storyline so it seems to be the video itself. If you're seeing different inside Storyline I'd need to take a look at the original video file.
I just tried your SCORM cloud link and the video played right away, which leads me to believe there's something wrong with my LMS SCORM player. I'll have to bug the vendor again....
I'm updating my iOS right now as I didn't know you meant iOS 9.1 - but it sounds like you were able to utilize mine, so let us know what your LMS vendor says!

Hi Karthik! Looks like Matthew has you covered here. I'm not sure if any other users are utilizing a Beta as you are.
Thanks for your quick response Matthew, I appreciate it.

Ah, makes sense Karthik :)

Ok, that should solve the issues fairly painlessly
Thanks Ashley!

Hi Jo,
Did you already update to the latest update of Storyline 2, update 7? Or use the Articulate Updater in regards to the iOS9 issues?
Also, when looking to access the courses on the iPad, I'd also look at clearing the browser history to ensure you're using the latest update of the courses instead of accessing a previously loaded link.
After the updat i re loaded my storyline 2 presentation. still without succes.

I just finished re-publishing them today, so it was indeed with Update 7.
I've attached a sample, it's slide 2.

My bad, sorry about that.
No problem Alexander - I'm taking a look at your file now and will be in touch shortly.

I even get the same behaviour with Articulate Mobile Player app. It's like the LMS won't transmit the .MP4 data or something.
