Recently, I keep getting a notification that something has gone wrong with storyline and it might have to close. Previously, the notification occurred when I tried to publish a project, but now it is occurring every time I try to duplicate a slide layer. So far, the programme has never closed - but I'm not able to duplicate any slides.
I've attached a screenshot of the message that pops up.
I am already working on my local drive Wendy, so I tried Alyssa's recommendations. Tried to import and that didn't work and I checked out the tips. I then tried the repair and uninstalled and reinstalled the programme...but it still hasn't worked.
I'm happy to test your file if you like. Just upload using the grey 'add attachment' button and let me know what slide it is you are working on and which layer you are trying to duplicate.

Hi Hannah
very frustrating when that happens.
Are you working with SL on your local drive? Issues like this sometimes occur if you are working from a network, external or usb drive.
If you're working locally, you might need to try a repair of SL
Good luck!
Hi Hannah!
In addition to what Wendy recommended, I'd also suggest importing the project into a new Storyline file, as that can often fix this kind of behavior. I also wanted to share these tips for managing project files to help you avoid unexpected behavior in the future. :)
Thank you both for your prompt reply!

Any other suggestions?!

Hi Wendy,
That would be great.
Sorry to be a nuisance, but is it possible for me to send it to you privately?
Thanks
