I have a problem in articulate storyline published scorm file. when i run story.html on chrome. The fullscreen button of youtube video is not showing in Articulate player. please provide me a appropriate solution for this problem.
How did you insert the Youtube video into your Storyline project? If you inserted it as a Video from Website you won't see the Youtube branded player that includes the full screen button. If you have inserted it as a Web object you may need to adjust the option for full screen as detailed in this article.
In storyline i inserted the youtube video as a web object and i already apply fs command for default player option. but still i am having the same problem in the video on chrome only.
In IE browser my output file running properly with all youtube option.
Can you tell us how you're viewing the published presentation, please? Are you viewing the published output files locally, or are you uploading to a web server or LMS?
If you're viewing your published files locally, this may be the problem. If you view a published Storyline presentation on your local hard drive or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail.
To properly test your published content and share it with others, upload it to the environment for which it was published. Please review the article below for more information:
I suggest using SCORM Cloud for your course - it's a great place to test SCORM content.
Another option would be to use ourTempshareserver. Just keep in mind that this server is only available for testing content - it is not officially supported by Articulate and all content will be removed automatically after 10 days.
You're always welcome to try outArticulate Online, as well - it's available for a free 30 day trial.
If you're still having trouble, please consider sharing the .story file here, so we/I can take a look at what's happening in Chrome.
I don't see any additional posts from Ashok or if he shared his file with Christine - so I'm unsure what the resolution was. Would you like to share a copy of your course here with us?
Thanks for sharing that - I didn't see a fullscreen button in that example but I did see the YouTube controls and the YouTube branding. I would want to take a look at the .story file to see how it's set up and matches what is set up as described here.
Thanks for sharing it here. I tested this out and didn't see a full screen button in Chrome or IE. I'm curious to know if you could also share a screenshot of how this looks for you in IE or Firefox. It may be that Chrome or even Youtube has changed how it handles these commands.
Thanks for those images -I see the fullscreen button in Firefox, but not Chrome or IE11. What version of IE were you using? I checked with a few colleagues, and they agree it seems like an issue with how the browsers are reading the YouTube code, and not specific to Storyline.
Chrome did release a new update in the last few days (Chrome Version 36) and I'm still on version 35 (I don't close tabs often...so it doesn't update automatically). Do you know what version of Chrome you're using? It may be worth checking into the update and seeing if that changes the behavior at all.
Looks like I am using Chrome Version 36 and it is up to date. We can always add a link underneath the video for full screen, but it sure would be nice to have it there. Thanks for all your help.
I know Chrome also updated again recently, now onto Version 37. It seems to be an issue with how Chrome is handling the embedded YouTube videos - so it's not specific to the Storyline code, but how Chrome is reading the youtube embed code.

Hi Ashok,
Did you resolve this issue? I am seeing the same thing...
Thanks,

Hi Ashley,
Here is a test with similar results:

Do you need the story file as well?
Thanks!

Okay here is the file, and the option to view full screen is there in Firefox and IE.
Thanks,

Hi Ashley,
Thanks for checking I am using IE11 also...so I am assuming it is what it is with Chrome and full screen?

Yup - version 36 is the newest version, but I also don't see it in version 35.
I'm having the same issue -- no full screen button in Chrome, (both Mac and PC versions).
Is there a fix for this issue?
Thanks.
Hi Mike,
I know Chrome also updated again recently, now onto Version 37. It seems to be an issue with how Chrome is handling the embedded YouTube videos - so it's not specific to the Storyline code, but how Chrome is reading the youtube embed code.
