Hi Mirna, the user must first interact with content before media plays in the web browser. This is the policy of the browser. Once the Storyline content has been interacted with, subsequent audio will be able to auto play. Does this answer your question?
Thank you Sam. I understand that explanation - thanks for writing it simply for a novice like me! So the reason the base layer media plays is because they have clicked 'next slide' on the prior slide - that is their interaction?
Because Storyline modules are single page applications, the first interaction with the page is enough to allow all subsequent audio on page to play automatically.
