Hello, I am hoping that someone can help me with this question.
Once a user has successfully submitted an answer for a quiz, the SUBMIT button changes to PREVIOUS/NEXT button in REVIEW mode. I cannot seem to get the NEXT button in review mode to go to the proper slide. Does anyone know how to get the PREVIOUS/NEXT buttons go to the correct slide?
Hi Christine, sure. I ha ve attached the file. Slide 1.13 and 1.7 will not go to previous slide on review. For some reason, they jump to the objectives slide.
I think it's because the question slides are separated and there's no "official" review slide, so the user won't be clicking on "Review". The project seems to be jumping to the wrong slide when going back to a previously visited question slide.
Now, I'm not sure if this will work the way you want it to, but it seems to work for me on my end. What I did was this; I took the two question slides and the slide you displayed in between the two slides and inserted them into a question bank, together. Now, when you finish the questions and end up on the "Star Rating" slide, you can go back and forth through the questions and the additional slide.
Again, I don't know if you prefer to not use a question bank, but hopefully this is will work for you :)
Hi Christine, I tried it and it works perfectly! The navigation seems to be fixed. One question for you. I created a new question bank and imported slides into the new question bank, but the slides remained in the story. I am assuming I can just delete the slides in the story because they now reside in the question bank, right?
I have seen this question posted so many times in regards to the navigation after a quiz, how do we share this resolution with everyone? It works really well. I am relieved that I can complete my project within required timeframe.
Correct, after you've inserted the slides into the question bank, you can delete the original slides - that's what I did in your original file, as well :)
I'm so happy this works for you! I was concerned with the question bank fix, simply because of the way you had the slides originally. It's really project-specific when people run into this issue, thankfully yours was one we could get working with the question banks.
I hope you have a fantastic day and good luck with the project!

I should also mention that I used the CONVERT TO FREEFORM functionality and DRANG AND DROP option.
Welcome to E-Learning Heroes, Andrea!
Are you spreading questions out throughout your course with other slides in between?
If you'd able to share the .STORY file here for the project, I'd be happy to take a look.
Thanks!

Christine, do you think it has anything to do with the numbering sequence? Is there a way to change the numbering sequence?
Hi Andrea,
Yes - actually :)

Christine thanks so much for following up. I will give it a try and see. It doesnt matter to me how we make it work as long as it works
Thanks again
Andrea
Sure thing, Andrea!
Hopefully that'll do the trick :)
Hope you have a great day!
