Articulate Storyline Updates

Dear Community!

I have a question regarding Updates in Storyline. I work for a company which produces e-Learning content for various clients.

Until now, we have always used the same Storyline 2 Updates throughout a project.

We have now reached the point where we want to upgrade always to the latest Updates for every project.

My question is now if there are any known problems with updating storyline? (e.g. updating Storyline 2 Update 4 to Update 5).

And are there any known issues when two different people are working on the same storyline file but with different updates?

Hi Sebastian,

We always recommend using the latest update of the software. Keeping things updated makes sure that you have all the current bug fixes. It is possible that someone using a different update may see issues, and certain bugs may still be open for them.

We would recommend using the current update found here for everyone using the file.

I would suggest reading through the update 5 topic to see what issues other people have encountered with the new update, and what solutions people have come up with to those issues.
