I recently bought Storyline and I'm able to make quizzes in Storyline. Do I still need to buy Quizmaker? In other words, is there any benefit of using Quizmaker standalone if I can already make my quizzes using Storyline? Does it do more than what Storyline does?
In my experience, you can do everything that Quizmaker offers and more (including more question types and result slide flexibility) in Storyline. This might change just a bit with the release of Studio 2012 later this year. The import of questions from an Excel spreadsheet looks very attractive and isn't currently available in Storyline or Quizmaker.
We note that Storyline differs from Quizmaker in that it does NOT provide a "send email" button that agregates the quiz scores with the survey and essay questions we were using to generate an actual qualified lead from quiz completions. This is almost as big a problem as unreliable emailing (some vauge issue involving browsers, email security settings, etc. etc.). We don't see and easy way of integrating a Quizmaker quiz into a Storyline course and have it do what Presenter + Quizmaker produced as a published finished product. Can you please comment on this and provide advice? Thanks.
I am using Storyline and I created a Quiz, but It was not on my template, it was on a white blank background. is it possible to have it on the colored template?
Did you create the quiz in Quizmaker and then import into Storyline? If so did you look at applying the Storyline slide master or background to your quiz once you've inserted it?
