Articulate to LMS = Pass Mark
Dec 08, 2014
Hi,
I am hoping somone might be able to help.
I have 1 training course with 6 modules, each module has a bunch of questions the user has to answer after completing each module. Once they have completed the course (6 modules) if they do not get 80% of the question correct they are not recognised as being competent and will have to complete the course again.
However, once I update the course into the Learning Management System (LMS) I then went through the course and chose the wrong answers for all questions and it says that I have completed the course 100% and am now competent. I have added all information required into the LMS correctly and am wondering if it is the way I have set the questions up in Articulate that could be the issue.
Appreacite your feedback.
Thanks

Hello Rebecca!
Are you setting this up to track by slides viewed, or are you using a results slide?
You could also test your course in the SCORM Cloud, the industry standard for testing, to see if you get the same results. this will determine whether it is a setting, or if it is LMS specific.
Thank you for your response Emiily. I am not using a results slide, the user needs to have 80% of the questions right over the 6 modules and not over each module so not sure if the results slide is the best option for this.
Hello Rebecca!
You can use multiple result slides in an Articulate Storyline course, and even combine them for a composite score. Or you can just have one results slide at the end to calculate from all the questions within the course.
I don't have the 6 modules in the 1 file. They are all in separate files. I was just going to get the LMS to work out the percentage. Is this possible without any results slides?
Hello Rebecca,
You would need to check with your LMS directly to see if they can get a percentage without a results slide. You can look here for the quiz data that is sent to a LMS from Storyline.
