I use both. 360 allows for use of RISE ( which I don't really use much), Online publishing for Review, and a Plethora of Content from templates to characters. But to be honest I typically use just SL3. The SL360 and SL3 versions are nearly identical, and I build most all my own assets. So from my own cost perspective SL3 is the better choice.
Glad that Richard was able to pop in and share some insight on how he's utilizing things.
I just wanted to mention that your email signature came through when you replied via email. You can remove that if needed - quick Peek video here if you need help.
