Assessment Branching/Remediation

I would like to create a pre-test in which groups of questions are assigned to content topics. If the user fails the cumulative score of the question group, the results page would show a link to the associated content for remediation. Some other means of branching would also work. In a similar manner passing the group might allow the user to skip a content block. Has anyone doe this type of branching with Storyline or have any ideas that might get me started? Thanks in advance.

Hi, Neil -
This example might answer your query:

In this example, I used the results.score variable to evaluate how a learner did on a particular set of questions (3 different pools). That was used to mark a section complete. You could use the same mechanism to branch into remediation.
Steve,
Thanks for the quick response. I am anxious to look at the example, but for some reason I am getting a "Cannot display page" error when I click the link. Not sure if it is a security issue on my end or perhaps something with the link. Is there another way for me to get to this?
Hi, Neil - that one is at a Dropbox public folder. Could be your firewall police are blocking it I've attached the file.
Thanks Steve!
Hi Steve, I found your post and sample to be specially useful for our pre-test requirements for eLearning to be launched on iPad. So just thought to tell you that first.
However, my dilemma is this: I published your sample on HTML5 for LMS, uploaded it on scorm cloud, and then tried to run it on iPad. Everything worked well, except when I clicked on the big button to launch the pretest, the pretest didn't load. So I figured the Reset Results command was creating a conflict with the jump to slide trigger. Bottomline, Jump to slide trigger works, however it seems the reset results command doesn't work on iPad. Tried to run the same HTML5 published file on desktop and it worked well. So I am thinking is this some sort of compatibility-limitation for iPad?
Would you recommend a workaround for this? Thanks in advance!
THANK YOU STEVE!
The templates were just what I needed for proof of concept and to get started. You are truly a HERO!
Best to you,
Ellie
