I'm creating a group and need to add about 50 content items to it. Am I missing something or do I have to go into "manage" on each of those items and assign it to the group? Is there a faster way I'm missing?
I don't think you're missing anything. As far as I can tell, you can't add multiple content items to a group at once. I'm afraid you may have to add each manually. Having said that, however, I am going to ask around and see if there are any other methods you could use to work with your content a little faster.
I've asked around and unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any other way to do this. I apologize, I know you were hoping to find a faster way to work with the content.
For now, if you haven't already, you may want to submit a feature request for this:
I have come across a tutorial that might shed some light on this issue. select all your desired items that you want to Group and hit ctrl+G, that should do the trick.
This thread is a bit dated and Christine does not make it back to the forums often as she has a different role here at Articulate.
I cannot speak to what she meant by manage there, except that she was using the same language the original user had.
Sounds like you would like to add to an existing group, and I noticed your post here as well.
You can add items to a group by multi-selecting holding the Shift key and via Control + G to group.
You could also Ungroup the initial items, then create a new group
As you know both of these methods would mean you'd have to update your triggers, so it looks like you have submitted a feature request to add items to an existing group without creating another group. I can see where that would certainly be helpful. Thank you!

I'll let you know what I find out.

Thanks for sharing Esben and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
"Manage" each item individually? Can you explain that? I'm using SL2. I have a bunch of items I need to add to a group....
