Hello, I'm working on a project where the learner is to adjust the amount in three different numeric entry fields. After each adjustment, when clicking in the next field (control loses focus), a total amount shown at the bottom of section is reduced by the subtracted amount. The problem I'm running in to is, I need the initial amounts to appear in the numeric entry field box.
Attached storyline file for reference. Any help is much appreciated.
Wendy and Christie, thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I'm in Storyline 1 for a few more months, but I think I've got what I needed to do figured out. Data-entry fields, text and numeric, have been a challenge for me since day one...2.5 years ago; but I'm getting there. :) Thanks again.
Hi, Ryan -- Thanks for the update, and for the reminder that you are using SL1. As such, here is the Storyline 1-specific information you may want to keep handy for Adding Data-Entry Fields, and please don't hesitate to let us know if you need anything else!

Hi Ryan
you can adjust the default value of the numeric variable via the variables list then it will show in my example 57 when the user sees the field.
