I'm working on matching game. I've set up the shapes with matching question and answer. When the learner correctly matches two squares, the shapes disappear and display image underneath. I've researched the numerous matching games to understand the variable set up (true/false and number assignment), but I'm not getting the desired result. Can anyone offer any assistance or additional guidance?
Thanks so much. I've attached the file. I don't want to do a drop and drag match because I'm using that action in several other areas of the course. I started with setting the states to display selected (with white outline). If the match is correct, the squares would change to green with the white lettering and then disappear showing a piece of the image underneath.
Try this. I made states for all the rectangles, and the triggers for the base slide. On the Flip Cards layer I made triggers for only rectangles 1 and 4. You will need to duplicate those four triggers for each set of question and answer, changing them to refer to the correct rectangles.

If you will attach your .story file here, so we can see what result you are getting, and describe what result you do want, I'll bet someone can help.

I hope this makes sense.
Thanks,
