I am starting in storyline. When I try to insert photografic character (Atsumi) a big red X appears on the left and just one Atsumi image is shown on the right. Any help is apppreciated
I believe that due to the extraordinary sales success of Storyline, Atsumi and the other characters are taking industrial action until their performance fees are increased.
As the first character to be hired by Storyline, Atsumi is acting as Trades Union Convener on this one, and therefore is the first character to display strange and abnormal tendencies.
Normal behaviour will be resumed as soon as the Industrial Tribunal has met and arbitration has been conducted.

I'm not seeing a support ticket on this particular issue yet, but similar cases have been resolved by ensuring that you are creating, editing, and publishing your Storyline project from your local hard drive (typically your C: drive). Working from a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, such as file corruption, an inability to save changes you've made to your project, and loss of resources. This article talks all about it.
Also, in random/obscure cases, your machine can be in a strange state if left running for too long. Restart your computer first to see if this cures the problem.
Either that, or Atsumi took an early weekend
If that doesn't eliminate the mysterious Red X, I'd encourage you to go ahead and submit a case for it. Thanks!
I am working on C: drive. Today when I turned on my computer the problem was solved. Perhaps the modifications I have made on View page (zoom and Fit to windows) have fixed the problem or the restart of the computer as Peter suggested.
Anyway thanks for your ideas and support. Crazy Atsumi is back on my storyline. Perhaps she wanted to take one day off.
