audio burp on slide transitions in storyline HTML5 published outpu
May 21, 2012
I'm finding that when publishing and playing back html5 content from SL, there is a short audio pop when transitioning from slide to slide. I'm getting an extemperaneous audio "burp" from existing narration when clicking next or previous (slide to slide). It's like the audio is being scratched and making an incoherent noise when transitioning.
I'm using Chrome and the html5 story file. The SL file published was originally a PPTX import and slide narrations were imported via Presenter using the import audio feature (before import to SL). Audio burp is specific to HTML5 published output--using Chrome on desktop have audio problem--when I use IE with swf output audio works fine. Have maintained HTML publishing guidelines for audio (http://community.articulate.com/forums/p/12795/76365.aspx#76365)

Hi Richard,
I, too, have encountered this audio "burp" when transitioning from slide to slide with HTML5 output (and only HTML5) with Chrome (Mac). However I don't experience it at all on Safari. Therefore I would have to think that it's a Chrome issue with HTML5.
