I am facing an issue related to audio button of default player. I have used stage size 1260*626. The audio button gets hide behind the content in all browsers in SL3 html5 output.
Please find attached screenshot as well as the story file which contains error.
Let me know if there is any solution available for it.
That's weird -- I downloaded and published your file and everything is displaying properly for me in both Chrome and IE. You published out as HTML5 only? When you preview in Storyline does it display properly?
What is the version # of your SL360 install? Go to the Help Tab > About Storyline. Wondering if it was a glitch with an older version?
Thanks so much for including your file so we could test it on our side. I saw the same thing you're seeing – here's a video of my testing.
I'll get this reported to my team to see how we can help. Here's an inside look at our process for handling bugs like this one. If I get an update, I'll pass it along to you!
Our team has our eye on this bug, and we're monitoring it for impact. If I get an update on the status of this bug, I promise to pass the information on to you.
I'm not seeing any issue with the player tabs going behind the slide content.
What version of Chrome are you currently using and what operating system are you on? I tested in the latest version of Chrome, 73.0.3683.103, on both Mac Mojave 10.14.4 and Windows 10, 10.0.17763.
I do see a bit of blurriness in the Windows version vs. Mac version but wanted to confirm the other issue as well.
Please find below specification on which the issue is occurring:
1) OS: Windows 7 Professional and ios 11 and 12
2) Resolution: 1680x1050
3) Chrome: Version 74.0.3729.131 (Official Build) (64-bit)
4) Storyline Player Size: Width -1280 x Height-720
After further investigation, I found that this issue (content getting hidden behind player) occurs when I maximize the window. However if I reduce the window size the content gets displayed properly.
Thanks for clarifying those details. I took a look at your file again, as Alyssa's link had expired and you can see it here. I used the same resolution and Chrome version as you and maximized it as large as a could and still didn't see the player tabs disappear. Could you check if your Chrome browser is zoomed in at all? I was also on a Windows 10 machine, so I can have a colleague test in Windows 7 if that's your specific environment.
One solution may be to lock the player at the optimal size, and that should keep everything in line. Our team has seen an issue where the volume control disappears when the player window is scaling, and we're still investigating that piece.

Hello,
Is there any update on this? We are facing this issue in our every project.
We are facing this issue for glossary, menu and some content on screen also.
Hi Pratik,
The problem you were seeing is now fixed in Storyline 3 Update 6. Here's a new link to test.
If you haven't installed the latest update yet, you can download it by clicking here.
Let me know if you have any questions about that!
I have updated the version but still facing the same issue in SL 3.
Also the transcript text is getting blur in the new update.
Please find attached storyline file and published package for reference.
Hi Pratik,
Thanks for sharing your file with me. I published it using Storyline 3 Update 6, then I hosted the output on SCORM Cloud.
You can click here to access the published project.
When you're viewing that link, do you see these two issues?
If so, be sure to let me know which browser you were using. I'll be standing by!
Hi Alyssa,
Both issues are reflected in chrome browser.
Please let me know if you have any solution for this.
Thanks for the additional information, Pratik.
