Audio does not play entirely in Accordion Slide Layer

Nov 22, 2018

Hi there,

I just wanted to ask... is there a way to make the audio play entirely w/o messing up the accordion animation?

I noticed that in order for the animation to play properly, the timeline should be paused when it reaches 0.75s--and then the tab(s) will move once it reaches 1s.

Is there a way to make the audio play in the slide layers with just triggers given that there are pauses necessary for the animation to work properly?

I've attached a sample of what I'm stuck with right now for your reference.

Many thanks!

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for the input. I've already thought of making another layer just for the audio.

But now if I do that, when I click another tab midway through the audio, it won't stop and it will have to finish the entire thing before the next tab that I clicked would come out and play its respective audio layer.

The pause at 0.75s is for the tab (shape) to stop before it goes back to the right portion of the screen.

Thanks!

You can hide that audio layer when you need to.
I suggest separating the close animation in a layer.

For example:
The active layer is 1, If you click tab 2, show layer "1-close" just to close tab 1. When timeline ends, show layer 2 for tab 2 animation. Tab 2 will then have "2-close" layer and etc...
