I'm using Articulate 360 and just recently the audio editor is not syncing the audio graph with the sound correctly. I recently update 360 to v3.7.12582.0. I have tried to uninstall and re-install but I'm having the same issue. Any Ideas on what might be happening?
So sorry about that, James. Since Update 7, the audio and waveform are not synced correctly during playback in the Audio Editor. We're tackling this with our team, and we'll let you know as soon as we have a solution!
Hi there Mary, I'm sorry you're having trouble again. I tested this in a new Storyline 360 Update 8 file, and the audio and waveform were synced correctly. Could you record a Peek of the audio not syncing correctly in your file?
Thanks, Mary. I can definitely tell the audio isn't synced with the waveform in that screen recording. Could we have a closer look at your file? You can attach it here using the "Add Attachment" button, or send it to me privately here.
Same here. Update 8 is definitely out of synch. As a tidbit, it might be a problem with the rendering engine for the wave forms, as the asynchronization compounds with the duration of the audio.
Hello, I am experiencing the same issue -- editing in the audio editor while zoomed in, the on-screen waveform is not an accurate depiction of the actual audio.
Sorry you're hitting that, Bryan. We're keeping track of how this bug is affecting our customers, and I'd like to add your experience to our report. What version of Storyline are you using?
Our team is working on a fix for this problem, and you're in the right place to stay updated on this bug's progress!
Thank you kindly for your reply. I am using the latest release of Storyline 3, September 2017. I noticed the issue began appearing when I made this latest update. It seems that the visual displays of audio in the editor and actual audio do not match up...they seem to be off by a second or two. Sometimes the Preview function for a slide also doesn't match up for me, and sometimes even the timeline doesn't seem to match exactly like it used to.
What's interesting is that the issue seems more pronounced with projects that were created before this update. It's almost like the latest update changed the way audio was displayed on screen and now what used to be timed correctly is now playing back a bit out of sync.
Just trying to provide more information, hope this helps you! I'm sure your team can figure out what's going on! Thanks so much for looking into this!

I've been going crazy trying to figure out why it wasn't syncing; I've deleted wrong sections of my audio. Thank goodness I didn't save.
Oh boy. Same for me. This is critical. Need a solution ASAP!

Also I want to clarify that for this only occurs when zoomed into any portion of the waveform. NOT at full view.
Hello Patrick!
Would you be able to share your .story file with our team here so that we can take a look?
