Audio file not playing when previous slide is automatically triggered

A few days ago, I developed a first module where the title screen comes up for 3 sec and then automatically goes to the next slide which has some narration playing. I uploaded that on the LMS and it worked all fine. Yesterday, I worked on Module 2 and realised that the audio file was not playing after the title slide. I tried everything to trigger the audio file differently - even changed the title slide set up to be controlled by the user and to go to the next slide when the timeline ends. All but in vain. Then, I set the title slide to be controlled by the user instead of automatically going to the next slide and tested. The audio was then playing fine. Finally, I when back to my first module and played the module from the output folder. To my surprise, I realised that the same was suddenly happening there too. Why this sudden change in behaviour? Has anyone experienced the same sudden issue?
