We share our published files in SharePoint for our customers to review the content. Unfortunately our company blocks mp3 files in SharePoint. Is there a way to keep the audio feels as wav files in the published files? We are trying to promote Storyline for our future eLearning solution and it is crucial for us to troubleshoot this one issue...Please advice...
For your reference, here is some information on Adding Audio to Articulate Storyline 2, and under the Importing Audio Files section, you will see that Storyline supports the following file formats:
AAC
AIF
AIFF
M4A
MP3
OGG
WAV
WMA
Unfortunately, regardless of what type of format you use, it will be converted to MP3 during the publishing process. We do not support modifying the published output, but perhaps someone in the community would be able to chime in with some suggestions. :)
I know it supports all those formats but was wondering after you publish the file from Storyline if the audiofiles could be published as wav files. Currently by default Storyline publishes any imported audio to mp3 files...does it make sense?
Hi, John -- I had actually decided to revisit the question and added the last part to clarify a bit more, so you didn't miss it initially. :) My apologies for any confusion, and I hope other community members are able to offer further ideas to assist.
