I am using the embedded microphones on my laptop and recording a video screencast and recording my voice at the same time. I can see the mic levels are recording and voice is captured on the video alone, but when I try to play the video through Articulate Storyline, there is no audio. What have I donr wrong?
I thought there was a video file that I was able to play. That's how I knew that the recording was working. I think I saw that there is a way to go from single video to SW Simulation. Can it go the other way too? Back from SW SIM to a single video?
When you save the video after you have captured your screenrecording, you can re-insert it as a Single Video (Or any other modes for that matter) by clicking on Insert > Record Screen - - - it should show a list of all the screenrecordings you captured.

Hi Anne,
Can you tell us how you inserted the screen recording? If it was inserted as step-by-step slides, any audio that you recorded with the screencast will not be used.
Thanks for any more info you can provide
Hello Anne,
Just to clarify, when you say the voice is captured on the video alone, what do you mean? How do you verify this?
Are you inserting the video as a video on a single slide or in Try/View Mode? There will be NO audio if you insert it as Try/View mode.

I was inserting it in the View mode. Ahhh! That is what is wrong.

P.S. Thank you both so VERY much!

That did it! Bless your heart!
