Did you check into all the items Emily mentioned, especially in regards to where you were testing it? If you've been testing within the published environment as described above and you're still having difficulty we'll need to take a look at your .story file. You can attach it here in the forums using the paperclip icon.
Thank you for attaching a file. I published the for the web through Articulate Tempshare, and for LMS and sent to the SCORM Cloud. Both paused and resumed without any issues using Google ChromeVersion 37.0.2062.124.
You may want to make sure that you do not have any security setting in your browser that may affect this.
This thread is a bit dated and hopefully you're not still on Chrome Version 37 :)
You mention that you're having the same issue. Is this related to using the seekbar in your course when viewing in Chrome? If not, can you detail the issue that you are having?
What version of Storyline are you using?
What version of Chrome are you on?
Would you be able to share your .story file for us to take a look?

Hello Kia, and welcome to Heroes!
I have tested a file using audio and published to the web in HTML5 and viewed in ChromeVersion 37.0.2062.124 with no issues.
Please confirm that you are working locally as described here.
Are you publishing this in its intended environment? We do not recommend testing files on your local computer as it may cause erratic behavior.
You can use on of these to test for web:
You can also test within the SCORM Cloud, the industry standard for testing content,if you are intending to use a LMS for delivery
I still have problems with the files.
Once , I click on pause and play again, the audio just does not resume.
It only happen when using chrome 37

Hi,
I tested the courseware on scorm cloud.
It is not working as expected.
The problem only occurs when I click on the seek bar to seek to other portion of the slide or when I click on pause and play again.
The audio does not resume as expected.
I attached the .story file.
Please help to take a look.
Thank you.

Hello Kia,
I was able to reproduce the issue, and could not get the Audio to play in Chrome V 37.
It does work in Firefox and Internet Explorer, and is working as expected in the new Storyline 2.
I have passed this information along to the QA team for review.
As I get information, I will pass it along here.
