Hi all, is there an easy way to stop the narration playback when someone clicks on another tab in an interaction? I can get at least four audio tracks playing at once on my program.
OK, what do you know? I got the program to upload. The issue is that the audio plays even if you move on to another tab or screen. Also, is there a way to let the student turn off the audio globally at the start of the program? Besides just turning the volume down?
Hi Leslie, I don't know how to pause the timeline of my base layer or how to stop the audio when the user clicks to move to the next tab. I have unsuccessfully looked for those controls.
You can check out the tutorial here on working with your slide layers.
Triggers perform actions at specified times. They're key to building interactivity in Articulate Storyline courses, and we've made them super easy to use. See this tutorial to learn how.
Hopefully this gets you headed in the right direction.

Hi Tom! Is this something that you are building in Storyline or an Engage Interaction that you have added to Storyline?
If you could share a project file, that would be helpful.
Let's see if I can attach the program...

Hi Tom!
For each of your layers, you will need to pause the timeline of the base layer.
You will also need to stop the audio when the user clicks to move to the next tab.
The volume button in your course should adjust the volume for the entire course. Is that what you are referring to?
