In my Storyline 360 projects, I have been adjusting the volume of some of our backing music but then when I go to publish it, the audio is still coming out very loud (the same or similar volume to what it was originally).
Is there a setting affecting the adjustments I'm making? Any ideas?
Hi there, Ed. I did a quick sample where I reduced the volume in the audio editor quite a bit, and it carried over into my published output on Review 360. Here are the publishing settings:
What format are you publishing to? Also, what does the above window show for you?
Hi Crystal thanks for this. It seems the only difference is I have the "Optimise Audio Volume" setting ticked. I've unchecked this and tried again and all seems to be working ok now (but obviously lose the benefit of it for other audio).
Hi there, Ed. Thanks for the update. The Optimize Audio Volume box will normalize audio throughout your course for consistent volume across all slides. Perhaps some other audios are bringing up the average volume though you've intentionally reduced the media volume on some slides.
Let us know if you're seeing a slip in performance of any other audio, though!
