Audio not starting with slide

Hello,
I just published a project from Articulate Storyline 2 and am taking it for a test run on my local machine before uploading it to the website. On every slide in the presentation the audio is set up to start with the slide timeline.
However, the audio on certain slides is not starting with the slide timeline. When I hit "pause" on the slide and then "play" the audio starts from the beginning of the audio track; while the rest of the slide continues along its timeline. If I hit "pause" and then "play" a second time the audio does not play. A third "pause" "play" and the audio is back from where it left off.
I am using Internet Explorer 10 on a Windows 8 Machine, and have the most recent version of Articulate Storyline 2.
How can I address this issue? Will this issue go away when the project is uploaded?

Can you share your story? Did you create a trigger to play the audio or is it just inserted on the timeline?

If you view an Articulate Storyline published course on your local hard drive (or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive), you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail. To properly test your published content and share it with others, upload it to the environment for which it was published. Here's how.
